Shelter Pup – Dobby
It’s hard to plan ahead with limited information. Sweet, adores-everyone, black Labrador-mix Dobby realized that he had a heart big enough to hold lots of love. However, Dobby didn’t know that he’d grow into a handsome, 10-month-old pup with a body to match his heart. Dobby’s now a 70-pound puppy. Dobby didn’t know that size could be a problem.
His first owners didn’t think of that either. They saw a cute, playful puppy and knew that he would be great with their special needs child. And they were right. Dobby didn’t do anything wrong, except grow. The family, evidently, hadn’t anticipated that.
Dobby is a good boy, and his body will fit nicely in any home, once he’s given the gentle training every pup needs.
