Shelter Cat – Stormy
Stormy, as an Oriental mix, is naturally lithe and elegant, like sacred Egyptian cats. Yet, poor, heroic Stormy passed the line of aristocratically slender to pathetically starved. Her people abandoned Stormy. And it was, as so many sad songs say, just when she needed them most.
Her people didn’t protect Stormy by spaying her. So, when she was still a kitten herself, she was pregnant. Her people didn’t want kittens, so they discarded Stormy. Stormy had her kittens alone. She made a nest for them in the undercarriage of a mobile home and kept them alive.
Amazingly, only Stormy suffered, almost to death. Her kittens are healthy and friendly, like their mama. Stormy was brave and loving. Now the little girl deserves an easier life.
