Shelter Kitten – Crimson
Crimson felt that the world was a very nice place to be. The exquisite russet kitten with white paws and a vest had his mama, his siblings and people who adored all of them. Crimson was content, imagining that his world would always be so perfect, that he’d always feel so loved.
Then, in just minutes, Crimson’s whole world changed. In fact, the world he knew disappeared. His people carried Crimson and his littermates to the shelter. It seemed that the people Crimson thought of as his forever family thought of him as an accident, an inconvenience.
Now Crimson’s whole idea of the world is different. Sometimes he wonders if it’s a place he wants to be. Crimson needs a friend, his reason to live.
