Shelter Pup – Luigi
Luigi could have chosen differently. Other pups, treated as badly, have lost their faith in humans. But Luigi, the optimistic 11-month-old, 45-pound, neutered pup, the shelter’s low-rider, has chosen to love everyone he meets. He’s ready to please them, too. He’s housebroken, leash-trained, and offers to play with every toy.
This pup, who seems to have Corgi legs, a Boston Terrier body, Fox Terrier ears, and Staffordshire Terrier eyes, was passed among owners and, finally, abandoned. As Luigi grew, and went from home to home, he saw less and less. None of his owners gave him the eye surgery he needed.
Finally, the shelter and the Friends of the Shelter did. Now Luigi will not only love his person. Luigi will clearly see him.
