Shelter Pup – Firefly
Firefly, a Border Collie – Beagle, is just nine months old, but she has the sweet, calm, humble disposition of a much older, wiser being. Some people would say that Firefly is an old soul, one who understands and senses more than she could possibly have learned in her short life.
That means that Firefly deserves to share her life with a person who appreciates her sensitivity and her potential. Firefly could understand her best friend on a deep level, read signals, do just what the moment and feeling required.
But it also means that Firefly’s heart and spirit could be broken by the wrong person. This pup is a companion animal, one who’ll love unconditionally. Firefly needs to go home with someone who wants that, too.

When a law enforcement officer asks for help from the shelter staff, it can be very serious. Situations don’t get much more serious than Marley’s was. Read Marley’s story and learn more about how you can help this sweet dog’s recovery efforts.
