Shelter Kitten – Mindy
The fluffiest ones usually go home first. Mindy might leave the shelter before her cute, sleeker-coated brother, Mork. That would be both happy and sad. Happy because going home is every shelter pet’s wish. It is sad because someone would miss the exponentially greater joy that taking Mindy and Mork home would bring.
Watching one kitten play and puzzle over the world produces smiles. Watching two generates laughter. Holding one tiny kitten means having a friend. Holding two means having a family. Leaving one kitten alone at home feels sad. Leaving two doesn’t.
Mindy wants to go home. She’s ready to live with and love her person forever. However, love expands. Mindy is spayed and Mork is neutered. They could stay together forever.
