Shelter Cat – Saffron
Homeless pets must wonder what they did wrong, how they could have misunderstood the rules. The fact is, they didn’t fail or misunderstand. Their people unfairly ignored the rules.
Saffron, a consistently sweet, intelligent and gorgeous calico is one of those confused little victims. The spayed cat promised to love her people, use a litter box and always keep herself beautiful. In return, as a kitten, Saffron must have received some chin rubs and food. Saffron was happy with the contract.
The cat never changed, never violated a rule or clause. But, for some reason, unknown to either Saffron or the shelter staff, her people broke every agreement. Now the small, wonderful cat desperately needs to meet someone more ethical, more inclined to keep promises.
