Shelter Kitten – Tipsy
Some kittens hear the call of the wild louder in their souls than others. Tipsy, who’s four months old, neutered and vaccinated, seems to be one of those. The shelter staff hasn’t been able to win his trust or real friendship. Tipsy is happy to accept their gifts of food, but only from a distance.
That means that Tipsy is looking for a barn-type home. He’ll have all the requirements to be a pet, except for the personality. Tipsy doesn’t want to cuddle, just comfortably co-exist. However, Tipsy isn’t asking to be a freeloader. His wild streak should make him a great mouser.
That predatory ability was, after all, what brought cats and people together to begin with. And, maybe, with time, friendship will develop.

When a law enforcement officer asks for help from the shelter staff, it can be very serious. Situations don’t get much more serious than Marley’s was. Read Marley’s story and learn more about how you can help this sweet dog’s recovery efforts.
Dramatic cases of animal injury and recovery are common at the Grant County Friends of the Animal Shelter and Castle is no exception. We encourage you to read Castle’s story and learn more about how you can help this resilient cat’s recovery efforts.
