Shelter Kitten – Cotton
Although she’s only 12 weeks old, blue-eyed, Siamese-mix Cotton has needed extraordinary care from a number of people to survive. Cotton was born at the wrong time, in the worst of winter. When her mama brought Cotton to the porch of the country house, the people who lived there and fed lots of outdoor cats were amazed.
One family member, a young boy, recognized Cotton’s vulnerability. He gathered cardboard and made Cotton a shelter. And he held Cotton and taught her to love people. Yet Cotton was visibly failing. So, when the Friends of the Shelter came to spay/neuter the other cats, he asked for help for Cotton.
After time at the vets, antibiotics, eye surgery, and a foster home, Cotton needs her forever home.
